About me

I have recently graduated with a distinction in MA Communication Design from Norwich University of the Arts, and I am currently working as a service design intern with Policy Lab in the Cabinet Office, and as a marketing designer for Allies Computing. I also hold a BFA from The Ruskin School of Art, Oxford University.

During my MA, my research has focused on how design thinking techniques can address inequality in society. Technological and digital solutions are often lauded for making our lives more convenient, but these same solutions can exclude segments of society, or are not designed to be representative of the diversity of society as a whole. Design thinking is an iterative process, incorporating techniques derived from ethnographic, action, and quantitative research to develop user-centred solutions for business, public policy, and technology. My practice during my MA was largely conceptual, developing theoretical and practical proposals for service design solutions.

Previously, I worked as a video designer for theatre, mostly working with award-winning devised theatre company curious directive. curious directive create technologically innovative theatre that explores life through the lens of science, and I remain with them as a creative associate.
